From Simmer to Boil: Turning Up the Heat on CHP

The U.S. DOE Gulf Coast Clean Energy Application Center and U.S. EPA co-hosted the 2010 CHP Partnership Meeting and Texas CHP Policy Forum on November 1-3 in Austin, TX, held in conjunction with the Texas CHP Initiative's Industry Trade Show. This three-day event gathered representatives of the state's CHP and WHR industries to discuss the economic, environmental, and energy security benefits among facility managers, federal and state officials, utility representatives, and other interested parties; national and regional experts discussed CHP policy, best practices, and technology. The event included an exhibit hall featuring top CHP equipment manufacturers and services providers, two plenary sessions, 13 breakout technical sessions, two awards ceremonies, and tours of Austin Energy's Mueller Energy Center and UT Austin CHP plants. Over 50 speakers presented on the latest national trends, provide perspective on the fast-growing Texas CHP industry, and describe the latest technology and products. Presentations are available below.
